We conduct public policy and political surveys for news organizations specializing in state and local issues, elections, and referendums. Since 1984, we have polled over 2,000 political races and hundreds of ballot questions.
Since 1983, Mason-Dixon has specialized in conducting statewide public opinion polls for local television stations and daily newspapers. Since 1992, we have been conducting periodic polls in all fifty states. These polls have generally focused on state elections, state issues, and the job performance of state elected officials. Each state poll page contains selected results from the most recent poll, as well as the most recent job performance rating for the governor and U.S. Senators from that state. Some previous election polls, results from interesting issue polls, and local polls of interest may also appear.

We provide opportunities to “piggyback” or add questions to our state polls. The survey results are then provided on a confidential basis.
